What I find very interesting is… both Wout and Pogi went down, and both were spotted motor pacing the team car! Totally not cool. I wonder if the race commission will look into that. They producer quickly cut that feed and went to the main bunch. They definitely gained an unfair advantage. I thought you not allowed to slip a car even if you’ve been down. Tom should have won as he never had any rest compared to Wout and Pogi. I’m less than impressed to be honest!

have you ever tried to motorpace back into the bunch after a crash ?

I promise you Tom was chilling at 280w in the bunch while pogi was doing 550w to try to get back (Also I didn't see him behind any car).

Wout I saw behind a car not looking like he was peddling, but he didn't win did he ?

Anyways, I was so certain that Pidcock was either going to smoke him in the decent or in the sprint, he looked so good following every attack. Incredible ride from him and even more incredible ride from Tadei, even by his standards ! Also, whatever McNulty is getting paid, they must double his salary, unbelievable how he brought the bunch back on his own, then went to the front of the bunch mid climb, then put everyone in the hurt box (including Del Toro that did a 15secs attack and disappeared). AND HE STILL FINISHED just seconds behind Tadei wtf... this guy in an absolute motorbike

The Sprinters’ Classic won by the persistent rainbow jersey at 64 kgs in a torn speedsuit in a fantastic finale with Tom Pidcock. The Slovenian is built tough. What a lekka podium spot for former winner Wout van Aert.

Scintillating racing. Tadej Pogačar confirmed with Pidcock (from his interview) that the Slovenian said that he won’t return.

I assume the Slovenian wants to win all the Monuments. The only Monument that remains is the Hell Of The North and TP was runner-up there last season.

Beautiful racing. Phew!
