I do think he was soft peddling as remco was gaining everytime MVdP hit the front. But i also think he knew he'd probably be settling for 2nd anyway.

Following medical examinations, it has been confirmed that Kim sustained a fracture to her wrist, which will require surgery, after a crash in today's Ronde van Vlaanderen. Underachiever 1
