Get really hot there around August, every one heads to the beach! Might be a different race to what we are used to, but bring it on!

Like I said .... glad Wouty took it in no uncertain terms.

I had to record the men's race, set up this morning to watch it.

I'd like to thank Supersport for ending the segment 8kms before the end.

*round of applause

I'd have gone this route as well. Lucky no.3 for the young man.

Beautiful racing. Wow.
One of the talking points of the day is that WvA was on rim brakes.

No cramp and crying for Wout today up Siena Wall. What a ride under a hot Italian sun.The decisive final break and winning attack up the final strada sterrato pictured below:

"I really fell in love with this race two years ago..." - WvA.

What's the theory here?

Higher chance of punctures, so you want a quicker wheel change option? Plus roads unlikely to be wet, so rim brake stopping power is sufficient?

I read somewhere this morning that Julian Alaphillipe had a broken wheel, 3 bike changes and 6 punctures.

Overall 160 riders started and 42 finished.
