The expat cyclist Posted April 21, 2017 Posted April 21, 2017 Why do I get the feeling the numbers are down from last year? Got a mail last year saying entries are sold out. Today I get a mail saying entries are closing (so not yet sold out) Is anyone from Hubland going?

I wonder what the reasoning would be for closing the entries 6 months in advance if it hasn't sold out yet? Doesn't make sense

Spend in George, Mosselbay, Knysna and every and airport between Durban, Jo'burg and George as well as the Malls and Farmstalls on the route from George, Hartenbos, Mosselbay to Oudtshoorn onto Uniondale (because I mos like to drive so we can see/support the country). We have secured a house in Uniondale for the 2nd time this year. A very nice outing for us. Expensive, but nice.We never return without at least a few racks of Karoo-lamb rib. Best ever, and so is the race.

Anyhow, the line they were going with yesterday on FB was that they had some unpaid entries available, and the deadline had expired to get them paid, so these were available for sale up until 12 noon today.I think we are still going to be walking up Wapad...
