Rich guys buying super expensive 45kph ebikes and crashing them because they're just not used to the speed. That and some of the brakes on these 40kg bikes are woefully underspecced. Chatted to one of the guys before on the bike I mentioned above, and he noted they had taken their bikes to a good couple of the local trails already, inc Tygerberg, Jonkers and Delvera. ChrisF 1

Patchelicious Posted September 11, 2020 Posted September 11, 2020 eBikes (riders) are becoming a bigger issue in the commutes to and from work here.They are going 20% - 30% faster than the rest and this creates some challenges when you are sharing bike lanes with hundreds of other cyclists.
