MTB SHOES which to buy

I bought a pair of Specialized ones 10 years ago and fit me like gloves. The soles started to split so I decided to get new shoes and I went for the KTMs. Not bad but not the same comfort as  Specialized. I'll go back to Spez once the KTMs are done for.

There was no logic in your post. A simple google search will show you for 15k you can get a pair of custom made rocket shoes and some change left over for decent pedals and cleats.

Im looking at getting the Giro Privateer R.. anyone wearing these scooner..? 

I've got the Giro Code VR70. Carbon sole is ultra stiff, but they are a narrow fit with a tiny toe box. Not as comfy as my previous pair of Spez.

I rode a pair Nike ACG leather shoes for years ...replaced them with a pair of

giro..herraduro on sale at CWC...i think they were 699,and i must say i'm very happy with them

thanks, actually wanted to take price out of the equation, 

looking for a mid range shoes - meaning that I don't win all the races so i don't think it justify getting the top of the range shoe.
