Brand loyalty - what would make you change?

Form the first time I walk in to servicing the bike to dealing with a claim - the complete brand  experience

 

I have ditched both Momsen (warranty)  and Spez  (this was more shop specific) failing on both above and will never go back to them ever

 

Loyalty comes when you have come through the whole process and still smile - why would you go elsewhere then - its freaking hard to find a overall good brand experience

The only brand I am loyal to is Hope.. That sht has never let me down! 

 

Two sets of x2's ridden to hell and back

Two wheelsets with Pro 2s also ridden to hell and back! 

 

The most loyal and important for me is my not_so_LBS, those guys are awesome, make plans, fix things dont just replace them and are always down for some kakpraat! 

 

When it comes to frames, I like them to be made of Ti or Steel and preferably by hand! Not always possible and not always in budget!

Agreed, once you have a sour experience with a brand one tends to support another. However, it is a pity that these brands dont take this more seriously.

I think it all comes down to the support you get after the purchase.

Thinking back to my BMX days I owned a Trek vert4, frame cracked and they supplied a complete new bike.. TR30 i think... Was only expecting a frame but no questions asked.

 

These days the market is very competitive, so value for money whatever the brand is point no:1, second I would like to be assured that I'm getting a good back-up service for the day something goes wrong.

If price was the only factor, we would all be on Giants.

Missing the point. As we said yesterday, I think we are in agreement. Just always interested in where the line is? Also don't like someone calling me names

I promise you I am not. But we agreed, so now people can relax a little on that. The line you speak of is mine field of selective morality and hypocrisy, it is most definitely a topic that will end is name calling :)

 

This thread is about brand loyalty in general, not only about which bike manufacturers sponsors the Sea Shepard ;)
