Didn't watch the race, but good to know that Mathias Flückiger didn't decide to huck it off the side of the mountain again. Looks like he's starting to find some speed this season.

Recorded the ladies race on DSTV, watched later and suddenly the TV jumped from lap2 to lap4, then half hour later jumped back to lap 3, or something, lost interest at that stage). Took a while to figure out how Neff had dropped back so suddenly. In reality it was a slow bonk not a quick bonk  .

Nino - extra-class above all others.

How can that be boring?? You have to admire the talent, training, equipment and effort put in to do what he does. If other's cannot follow, how is that his "problem"??

Same for ladies. Yana doing similar.

Sure, it's maybe not that exciting - but it is jaw dropping stuff.

I can only imagine the speed these guys are doing going up and down. Would love to stand next to the track myself and see it. It's amazing stuff

Nino is killing it, especially after winning the Epic, 'by mistake'.

between him and Absolon they took almost all the WC victories for about 3 years. Now with JA surely into twilight era at age 36, it's up to the rest to catch up. Coolharvey the only other guy to consistently feature.

He's 31 so could go chase JA's records, but if he gets a bit 'bored' he could go and try some more roadbiking/enduro/who knows

Wonder how much the Epic paid him to mention them in his post race interview? :-)

Race was shortened by one lap due to the track being wet. Kulhavy cought up from the 3rd row finishing 2nd only 3 seconds behind Nino, wow! Back to form. Van der Pool finished 10th
