Thanks Rattlesnake

As I have a capped internet line, do you know more or less how much data you would use to stream a race through Red Bull TV?

For optimal performance I would say no less than a 10MB line

Data wise - 720p, probably 1GB an hour (ballpark).

Anybody know if the U23 race will be streamed live via Redbull?

Unfortunately, it's not on their schedule and to my knowledge they haven't shown it before.

I do remember seeing highlights somewhere though. Maybe that was World Champs though.

Ladies race is going to be tight: Rissveds, Neff, Courtney Pendrel, Maya Whatshersurname are all going to fight hard for that top stop.

Yip, DSTV fail again but they show NASCAR, does anyone in SA actually watch these cars literally going around in circles? It's nearly as boring as F1.

Don't think it's a DSTV issue. As I understand, Red Bull dropped bucket loads of cash for exclusive rights. So, even if they wanted to, it wasn't going to happen for DSTV.

Hoping for a decent showing from the Saffas. Doing my utmost to be optimistic.

Would be great to see if Nino can keep that level of motivation and performance up now that he's won everything there is to be won. I'll bet that he can. He's already got another gold on his mind.

Looking forward to an interesting tussle between Risveds and Neff.

Cancelled my Dstv 2 months back..... will never look back. They are increasingly showing more and more garbage.....

Series - netflix, R160 per month

Subscription to Eurosport cycling less than R500 for the entire season.

XCO and DH, free on Red Bull tv in HD.

We did it 2 years ago and have never missed DSTV for a day. we use Hulu and Netflix and then use streams airplayed for cycling and Redbull TV for XC and MTB.

Costs 1/4 of the monthly cost of DSTV and you get to watch exactly what you want with no repeats of stuff you don't want to see.
