When said creatures come knocking at your door and all belching out "Trick or Treat", give them handfulls of chopped veggies, carrots or brussel sprouts.

 

They dont come back and they also tell their friends

LBS this weekend (26th) Bicycle line Atlasville, my mates club has a ride 17 Dec, the SPCA one I have committed but just waiting for the date. 

I'm keen on the SPCA ride. Please post/PM updates when you know.

I queried the results of top 10 as I knew they were incorrect and they replied: "We have updated the VB group according to our Backup Photo’s on when everyone crossed the finish mat."

 

No explanation as to why they were incorrect to start with.

Problem is that that the winning time is quite a fast time which hurts the rest of us mortals on seeding index.

Although I had a good ride, I still have a better number at another event.

Yip. Just checked my seeding and I must say I'm disappointed, even though I did a sub 2:45.

Guys, is it just me, or are the pics taken by Jetline Action Pics absolutely rubbish!?

And the prices are insane, but I could have looked past that just for one decent pic.

Quality, agreed, some are simply not up to scratch from prior years.

 

We did a double lap so I'm going to have MANY to choose from the purchase. Just 3 or 4 will do me fine.

My 2c on the "chocolates" incident(s) - 

 

I just ignored them. They didn't harass anyone (that I know of). Their requests were annoying, but I just ignored them and I will keep doing as such. 

 

You never know, perhaps a few of those kids were actually inspired by watching MAMILs (speak for yourself      ) ride past, giving it horns for 2345th place (but they didn't know that).

Now if only one of your VB colleagues hadn’t overslept and started down in VF, I too would have had my Top 10 . Instead 11th in VF start group but 10th in age group stats

I'm not saying anybody could act enthusiastic all day, but, at 06:00 in the morning seeing how disinterested some of them already appeared...

I'm sure I am not the only one who saw a couple (and it really was only 2 or 3 that I personally saw) of them not even looking in the direction they were shooting.

 

I also overheard one photographer, basically on the start line, explaining to another how to make sure they get the race numbers when taking pictures.

It did make me wonder what the criteria is to work for Jetline. I guess anybody who shows up on the day with a camera is eligible...?

As far as I know, the camera is supplied to the photographer
