Broke my collarbone and tore the ligaments off over easter weekend on Paarl DH track. I still have a plate and screws inside me to show for my “fun times” with ‘ol Jeff That said we became best buds again last weekend when I tried the new Banhoek trails. This MUST be the absolute perfect trails ever built for Jeffsy. It epitomizes “trail riding” in my opinion. If you haven’t taken your Jeffsy there yet, GO!!!
Johnny Lawless Posted October 26, 2019 Author Posted October 26, 2019 Oh and pointed a colleague to the goodtimes.co.za website where I bought my Jeffsy from. They still show previous year models on sale but when he phoned they said something to the effect that that site shouldn’t even be up anymore and that he should contact Black Sheep Cycles for YT purchases. Bit poor form to leave the site up and create expectations. Seems rather difficult to get hold of a YT in SA these days.

Hairy Posted October 27, 2019 Posted October 27, 2019 Ok From what I understand BSB will be a display store for YT and their idea for stock would be to take pre orders for monthly deliveries to SA... works better for them than ordering a full season worth of bikes. I assume they will also bring in an extra bike or two of popular models in popular sizes to keep in stock for on the floor sales.

We have not made an official announcement on this, as there are still some pending issues for YT Germany to finalise before we can officially launch. The last two issues now currently being worked on by Germany, is:— The SA website and payment portal.YT’s model is direct to consumer. This means bikes must be purchased online, directly with YT. Bikes will then be shipped direct to the customer, NOT to BLACK SHEEP BIKES. Setting up all the website logistics and payment procedures is quite a job, but is in the works, SOON to be completed.— SA pricing and shipping/imports.We have received the list of 2019 YT bikes still available, with reduced pricing.
