Thanks Champ!

Laat dit jou toe om BB30 te verander en hoekom wil jy dit doen?

Bought an Si2 in Jan.

Confession: MASSIVE Specialized fan.

Reasons for purchase:

1. Value for money.

2. Geometry

3. Fits like a glove

4. Rides ST like its on rails

5. Lefty is as smooth as butter (used to ride SID Brain)

So I wanted a full suspension bike to replace S-Works HT Stumpjumper and did some serious research to find a bike which had great spec for my budget.

Compared to its competitors there I couldn't find any other bike with a similar spec for less than R13k or more, and some of the others were simply more expensive without having superior specs.

Si1 didn't appeal to me due to Shimano groupset and related prohibitive cost to change to 1x11/12.

I love my bike and have developed dangerous levels of confidence with the thing. Jumping had become a breeze, too...

Got my SI3 in May after about 3 months wait....and all I can say is it was worth it...smiles, smiles, and more smiles. Mine is still stock but thinking of going 34 in the front.

I do come from riding a hardtail carbon spaz (also love this bike and converted this to an SS for more riding fun) for the last 3 years so this bike is the ultimate in luxury for me.

See if cyclelab don't have a test bike if you want to try it first.

Also a HUGE Specialized fan, but my S-Works Epic FSR rides like a hardtail as I tried everything to get a softer smoother ride. Played around with the brain (front & back) and still nothing has changed.

Would love to test one of the scapels!!!

Convert hom. Jong die bearings raak vinnig vol stof en modder en dan raas dit. Dan moet jy dit heeltyd laat diens en re grease. En ek haar iets wat squeek

True story.

As soon as I have enough money I will replace the BB30 with Wheels Manufacturing or Enduro BB. Did this on his Giant XTC HT, and it is an awesome upgrade, even though it was expensive.

Can you use the old crank (BB30 spindle ) with this "Wheels Manufacturing or Enduro BB" ?

Got my Si3 in Feb. Stock standard except for changing the rear hub to a HopePro4.

Lefty, just works better especially in a turn - Would struggle going back to anything else.

Geometry & fit suits me.

Just feels more playful & capable than anything I've ever ridden. Love it!

Excellent and proven bike , They could have built it around 100mm/110mm easily with today's tech

90mm on the front sounds very harsh

For 2018 their will be SE model 120mm of Travel.....
