Tummy D says he is “fresh” and ready to race for the yellow jersey at the Tour de France next month after finishing second to Sky’s Chris Froome in the Giro d’Italia.

He's got quite an engine

Lots of climbing in the 2nd half of the Tour will test him as well as team depth

I think he is a GC prospect even though he is late into the sport. He certainly has the headspace/fortitude for it.

Not recovered from the Giro?  Did Froome make him burn too many matches.... that not going to go down well with the French  :whistling:

Yeah it is due to recovery, but he mos “got sick” still don’t know why this guy actually makes headlines as a GC contender in the first place tbh
