"Vincenzo will have further checks when he goes home but from the diagnosis we’ve got, he’ll only have 15 days off the bike. If there aren’t complications, then he’ll be back to ride the Vuelta and the Worlds as planned.”

Update from Slongo, Nibbles' coach

You feel for the negativity that is being felt by a SKY rider, now that it’s somebody you like?

No because besides for the fact that he rides for Sky he has never been named in anything, no missed tests no rushed TUE's no jiffy bag and no 9month saga.

It is just sad that he isn't able to enjoy his time on the podium.

That's great news he has spent some time on the WC course..hopefully he will be good to go for the Vuelta to prep for WC.

Nonsense

Old wives tale

Quite right. There is no such thing as service in Paris. It's like the Cape Town of Europe!

Did I squeeze that in before fek you Friday ended?

Yes, let’s hope people learn that when you brand people or teams based on personal and emotive views that there is some collateral damage.

He didn't get this reaction during his other races in France this year..but then again fans go to watch those not spectators.

TDF may be the biggest cycling spectacle in the year but it also attracks a lot of crazies .[emoji17]

I showed that photo of CF to my girlfriend. She is well cross with me. She is quite potty mouthed at the best of times but even by her standards her language was really bad.

Did she call you an overweight b..stard again? :) repeatedly....

It’s not only the crazy up Alpe D’Huez that add to the degree of hate that negatively impacts those who don’t necessarily deserve it.

I see Reinie recorded 6000 calories burned for that 5000m climbing stage. He said it was 1000 more than flanders...that really is crazy considering what effort goes into a classic like that.

And then they get critized for using anything stronger than aspirin...
