Whether you greet or acknowledge someone is really a personal thing, BUT when I go bushwaking for you so that you can stay on the singletrack coming from the opposite direction and you cant be bothered to say "Thank you".... that P!sses me off no end... thats just common courtesy !!!

I honestly could not give a crap. I always greet and while it's nice to get a greeting in return, I'm usually too busy sweating my balls off while huffing and puffing to take a personal moment to sit and sulk on the side of the road and reflect on the overwhelming hopeless rejection I'm faced with when, heaven forbid, a complete stranger doesn't greet me. The reality is that not all people are brought up with "friendly" as a default setting. Sad? Perhaps. But crime against humanity? Hardly.

I suppose, the introverted guy who is just cycling, deep in thought, or focusing on is n-th interval, must now draw his focus away from what he is doing because some noobie, who is joyriding (well below his lactic threshold), decides that he has the right to pollute the  world by bleating some extroverted greeting!

how selfish.  How dare you.....doing that in London could get you a severe reprimand

I must be honest, if some guy screams at me because I didn't greet back, I would be less than chuffed.

People have no obligation to greet anybody, but you have no right to shout at me.

If this insecure guy needs people to pretend to like him and give him some attention, he should go to Teazers.

Savage AF!
