Nice sensational comment without the full context and not quite factual as yet.... currently being discussed on the Tour de France thread!

Well he is kind of right..(well if the whole thing isn't made up) .. ASO have barred him from participating (if reports are true)..so as things stand yep he is out of the tour ... this may or may not change on Wednesday when appeal result will be known... and then he is either back or still barred depending on outcome of appeal no2 at the CAS..and no guarantees that CAS will hear that case before the start of the tour... (Feel like we need a footer on every post regarding Froome news.. something like... "if reports are to be believed")

Scenario 1. After appeal hearing French Olympic committee say Froome can ride. Saturday after team presentation UCI release their finding saying they don't buy his excuses he gets a 2 year ban..Sky start tour with only 7 riders..too late can't bring in sub after team presentation.

Scenario 2. FOC uphold ASO decision, Sky bring in a sub.. Sky go to CAS for urgent application but no finding in time for team presentation, UCI release decision, Froome is cleared but still can't ride too late it is after team presentation...Bernal wins TDF

Scenario 3. FOC say let him ride, UCI clear him..angry French fans have to get rid of all the urine they have stored for the last 8 months..

I can't remember which pill do we chose red or blue?

Be it scenario 1, 2, or 3. I think all parties involved are being supremely selfish without any consideration of how this uncertainty will impact on Fantasy Tour selections.

This could well turn into a blood bath. If a "fan" has a go at Froome then I can imagine other fans having a go at other riders they don't like much.

Remember Cadel standing at the side of the road with several other riders after thumb tacks were thrown on the road?

I remember, that was very bad.

This is exactly why this gemors should've been settled ages ago.. it could get really ugly.

Now ever single rider will be asked questions about this saga at the press conference..what the hell are they supposed to say, and Sky have a media blackout.[emoji849]

As much as I hate dopers, Lance was treated unfairly in relation to every other one of them who also were in the juice. Now we have the same situation - either ASO meed to pull their neck in or the UCI needs to reveal all the other 'confidential' tests that are under review. Without an open process this will never be solved.

But if ASO treat all teams with dopers alike, we have the Russian Olympic situation where every actually convicted doper racing is unaffiliated we could have a once off mano a mano 'climb-off' to see who's best. At least then they won't appear to be total hypocrites.
