But for VdS, they seem to be experimenting with the high idler (concentric to the higher pivot) as well, with VitalMTB noting it's just for testing, and possibly for only certain tracks. Scott even bodged a HP idler onto the 'new' Worst-link Gambler Brendog is on. Either way, these young French guns on their Supremes are fast AF. Get ready for every privateer and partially sponsored rider falling over themselves to get onto a Supreme 29.

The bandwagon is well and truly here. Seriously though, the guys riding the latest high pivot Commencal DH bike are doing so well. Look at Estaque and Wilson as well. I think they may be onto something. Hell I'm falling into the "its all about the bike" trap.

Probably won't be able to race at Andorra, which is a shame, as it's effectively a home race. Happy for Seagrave. At least we didn't have to suffer through another Rachel Atherton smugfest. Kudos to Hrastnik and Widmann on also making the podium. Very close racing in the top 3 Elite Women's. Pierron is an absolute beast! Three wins on the trot! Smart money is on him for Andorra too. Shame more folks aren't giving Greenland the credit he deserves. With Gwin out till MSA, Greenland can challenge Pierron for the overall. Also bummed for Bruni - looked like he was on a stinker.

Heard them comment something that some of these french/euro riders have been practicing on these tracks for a few weeks now, where the tracks are usually closed off before the events. So not necessarily anything to do with pivot placements, rather than just more practice time.
