Killer, killer run by Pompon! So stoked for her! Beat the rest of the field fair 'n square. Was visibly faster than the rest of the Women.

So cringy that Minnaar flatted on his brand new Assegaai tyres that's been touted this past week.

.

She was indeed.

Don't know what it is... But she's rubbing me the wrong way of late. Not sure if it's being the ladies UCI representative... Or just a small bit of ego creeping in

As for thenew rules about protected top 10. I don't mind it... But if you make fastest quali and you are out the top 10 and top 10.. Then you should still have the privelidge of starting last

Nah, she's chilled. Still SOO much more palatable than Atherton.

I think she is just happy to be coming into a season without injury and that things are finally working out for her ... she rocks, sorry, rides rocks :P

Did you see how smooth those commie bikes were in the rough ....... sure the riders have "some input", but compared to most other brands the commies were just so smooth.

Pierron was on the top if he didn't flat

Am I the only one that thought Gwinn looked like he was pedaling uphill through the urban section?  Just a big gear or issues with derailleur?  He lost a lot of time there.

I thought it was brilliant. ROCKY AF, technical as hell and very very easy to get wrong.

Got to agree. There was not one pro that I saw that moaned about it. Even Brendon F had nothing to say and he's normally winging like a 2 year old.

Ask bulldog or tracey if they thought it wasn't a proper course. We saw multiple lines..gnarley crashes and on the edge riding..I was entertained alright

Kind of agree but its too short and not steep enough, too pedally.

Ya, I agree. I did enjoy the race and the venue - its beautiful,  and the rocks made it a memorable event, but to me its way too short and the last bit after the rocks was just dull.

Gwin really showed his class - he nailed the rocks beautifully.

What was I saying about Greg and his cursed flimsy 29er wheel/tyres? :-)

Cant quite work out what Bulldog did  - looked like a rookie mistake.
