So now that we've resolved my bugg bear it is time for me to ask, I am looking for one of those blue dials on a rear shock where the cable fixes to (for remote lockout), those items are quite pricey. Strange thing happened to one of mine: the grub screw broke out of the dial and took a big chunk along with it. Most probably metal fatigue but alas, such is life

Hi All, I received some carbon frame bits. One BMC four-stroke 1 (26" I believe) front triangle, a BMC rear triangle and a niner rear triangle. Unfortunately they all have cracks (frame has multiple hairline cracks). Not sure if worth repairing, but they are free to anyone that might be interested. Note I'm based in Cape Town, Southern suburbs. Cheers, Johan

Ps will drop some pics tonight.

Need a basic pump head

Pump and hose are fine but head has given up , just something basic that works really doesn't have to be one of these fancy dual-head thingies

I can help, I am just quite ill at this moment so it won't be today

Good morning Robert,

Thank you, I have potentially come right this side. @ChrisF has a set of 3x9 shifters and cassette lying in a box, so we are going to try and do a gear upgrade at the same time.

Hope you recover soon mate.

Thanks Theo,

@ChrisF has 3x9 shifters and a cassette in a  box by him  we're going to see if we can't do a gear upgrade at the same time.

Thanks for the offer though 😎

@RobertWhitehead maybe you can confirm if the following swop will work ...

The idea is to replace the 7 speed CLUSTER with a 9 speed CASSETTE.  In terms of hub thread and spacing ... do we have a chance of success with this ?

PS - I do have the 9 speed cassette, derailure and shifter.  @KB280DT is currently also on the crutches list ... so may be a week or two before we can get together to actually test this transplant ....
