Hi all

Does anyone perhaps have an old bicycle storage item that they're no longer using? I've been storing my MTB on its back and my toddler treats it like a seesaw. Preferably a wall-mounted one to get it out of the way and out of her reach.

Thanks

Fakhrie

Don't have a shim but I might have a 31.6 seatpost for you if that might help?
I will have to check though.

Let me know

Thanks for the offer, but its for a dropper, not too tempted to buy a new dropper or pay R150 courier on something that costs less than R150

If you desperate a shim can be made from a soda can

Are you near Sunningdale at all?

Not quite, actually quite far from Sunningdale, but I'll be in the CBD area tomorrow. Will you be around by any chance?

And thank you

I bought a shim at Cajees here in Centurion for around R120, if you don't come right down in CT let me know and I can always go buy one for you and Postnet it to you. DM me if you are open to this option.

I saw shims at Decathlon as well. Cannot recall the price.

I did this with a 30.9 dropper on a 31.6 frame, rode it like that for over a year and worked like a dream

Was looking at this, but was scared of frame or dropper damage

Just make sure you use an alum can and not the typical tin as per most of the locally canned beverages.
