Suggestions for nice, thick lock-on grips

I've got a set of deathgrip thicks on my bike. Definitely the right thickness, but oh my word don't ride gloveless for at least the first 10-15 rides. Those little diamond protrusions will chow your hands.

 

After about 12 rides with gloves, they're a lot less pointy, and FAR more comfortable. Only grip I've found (besides the ODI) that had the right thickness for my index & thumb.

I just use squash/tennis racket tape over my grips, can make it as thick/thin as you like. R80/90 for a packet of 3 wraps vs crazy amounts for new grips....

I've seen them at CWC, Stoke, Nixon's, Olympic and a few other places. So quite readily available

Not sure locally but what about: 

 

- Death Grip Thick 

- Cromag  Square wave XL - will match your bar

- ODI Rogue

- Sunline Half Waffle thick lock on grips are great 

- Red Monkey do some 35mm lock ons

- Oury do some thick grips and are available locally. (origin / Trail Tech)

- Raceface Strafe are quite think and made by ODI

 

Not much to add to this list. Currently on Rogues, will try the Death Grips or Ourys next...

They look so comfortable, what thickness are they and they look a bit longer than your normal grips?

 

Jokes aside.... I have been on the hunt for extra long and thick grips, very versatile being able to move your hands far in or out. Is there anything on the market like that?
