"qualified" apology - you really just cant give this up, can you?  You could have taken the gracious road and said, "hey guys, the mag responded - all good" - But no, you didn't, did you?

 

Are you going to hold out now for an unreserved apology?  Would you like to debate the "quality" of the apology, and show us how it fails to meet the demands of your moral standards?  At this point, I would love to know

The REALLY satisfying thing is that I know two of the mooks who sprouted about how "distinctively" unique and non-mass produced this beer is - they ate many $hit sandwiches for this!

He apologised for the offensive language and imagery, but stood by their placement in the spirit of the article and that they would continue to do so in future, but with due care. I accept the apology, am happy to have been heard and will have to make up my mind going forward, regarding the new editorial policy. You are of course, not entitled to a reply, as per your own view, so succinctly stated...

Hey, look, OP got a response!  Not everyone is completely satisfied, but nothing of importance left to say, except that decisions will be made...  In other news, have anyone noticed how wildly taste, appreciation and quality differs from beer to beer?

 

And just this morning a colleague commended me on my ability to chug Black Label and remain (apparently) sober.  I did not remind him that was three years ago and my increased fitness has since decreased my ability to handle copious amounts of alcohol...
