For me personally, Its just to get elevation gain during rides and to gather HR data... And the ability to leave the phone in the pouch

As a student, Garmin is a lot haha!

One more thing: medical aid might not support Bryton (at least Momentum does not). You will have to connect Bryton to Strava first. Just another thought...

Currently my problem, I've got the 330 and can't use it with Discovery Vitality [emoji21][emoji25] but otherwise

, I love mine. Great info, great battery life, easy to use.

And it’s reliable. Good value for what you pay.

Doesnt work at all with medical aids. Went Garmin to get the points

Medical aids dont use strava anyway due to people fraudulently capturing activities manually

Luckily Momentum accepts Strava. A few years back I had to upload Bryton files to FitTrack when they were partners.

Yay, use a Bryton 330 and have no issues with it, had the odd logon/syncing issue with the app and Bryton support sorted it without fuss.

Battery life is great, it has mapping, navigation, heart rate, power, auto sync to Strava/Training Peaks and and and .... for the price it's great.
Ultimately also depends on what one wants from a device.

Yay...I have a 330. Works like a charm. Bought mine for R1600 excl shipping. It has the same functions as a Garmin520. Battery lasts 3 times longer than a Garmin. When stopping at home auto sync to Strava via wifi.

No problems so far.

Biggest pain with bryton is getting your activities to Strava. Fire up bryton app...sync.... Download gpx... Upload to Strava.....aaaargh. my byton was great while I had it.. But I would pay extra for that autosynchronisation via Bluetooth to Garmin connect and Strava

Any user experience with this.?

This or the Lyzene options for those on a budget.?

my lady has a Bryton 330. (Used to be mine) I have a giant Neostrack. Very happy with mine. From what I understand the Neostrack is based on a Bryton 530 but it has Giant's all important backup and warranty. Comes with an out front mount and a stem mount.
