This should do the trick:

Jokes aside, this would probably do a better job:

+1 for the USN stuff. If not for the performance, the taste (Chocolate and Strawberry variants) is great and mixes well with milk too.

A better job of needing to spend more time in the loo....

To the OP - try drink more fluids during the day - almost certainly you are not hydrating properly on site - consider wearing a hydration pack with fluids in....

As to recovery - beer works well - as does Woolies full fat chocolate milk.

I'll take the beer over the USN Shite any day.

I feel your pain, sometimes walk 30 to 40km/day on site, and My cycling (Using this term loosely) suffers from it. This amount of exercise although not high intensity takes it's toll, and unfortunately recovery is best done resting. Alternatively, light pedal (if you have a trainer at home) for 30 mins should help during the week.

Increase your protein intake during the day a bit.  As the doc says the choclate milk will work.  Adding a boiled egg and maybe some biltong and cheese would also help.  When my commute start early spring I also take flack with the first commutes.  This year I have not had a problem but did make sure I take in extra during the day (especially in the morning after my commute to work).

As far as USN products go, I've only tried USN Vita Blitz - for events and for the odd training ride. It works.

It's passive exercise.

Lose weight and get fitter.

Drink fluid during the day and eat snacks.

There is no way walking round site should tire you out if you do it often enough. If you are walking 50 flights of stairs a day every day, it will become easy and you will be better for it.

Be thankful your job allows you to be active and not stuck at a desk all day wishing you could walk around.

I have noticed no drop in performance since I stopped using supplements. My recovery is also still the same.

I am starting to see these things as snake oil, and pay little heed to the marketing blurb.
