Sportsmans warehouse Tubeless Conversion Kit - Good or not?

Hi guys. I've got to convert a new set of wheels with tubless ready rims and tyres to tubless. Looking to do this myself.

Has anybody used the following kit from Sportsmans before, and did it work properly?

It's perfectly fine, did my tyres and rims two years ago with the same kit, no issues.

Ryder makes a similar kit at the same price point

Bottle of stans and a roll of gorilla tape and you are good to go

Jip.

But it works out basically the same price.

I also found that the Ryder stuff works MUCH better than Stans.

It's fairly easy.

The difficult part (depending on the wheelset that you have and the tyres) will be to get the tire seated on the rim.

I have been trying this weekend for hours to get a racing ralph on a mavic cross ride.

Tried 4 compressors 5 CO2 bombs and nothing. Back to tubes.

Had tubeless on my previous bike and it was and is much better than tubes.

Some rim and tire combos can be a pain.

With my current combo, the bead won't seat at all even with a compressor, with value core removed. I have to do this:

- Inflate with a tube (this will seat the bead all round)

- Then release the pressure

- Loosen the bead on one side ONLY.

- Then remove the tube (without disturbing the bead on the one side).

- Then fit the tubeless valve (without the core)

- Pump with compressor to seat the other side of bead

- Then deflate, and fit the valve core

- Pump up!

1. Are the tyres the tubeless version?

2. Did you remove the valve core?

Crossrides are one of the few UST tubeless rims out there, so it really shouldn't be a struggle.
