Ramses clearly got a flight to catch, built up a solid lead on the chasing pack

Time gap to the chasing group was 1h30 through the night. Ramses stopped for an hour in Britstown, so gap is now down to 30min.

Wayne McDuling is heading back in the right direction. He has to go back to where he left the route, right?

Looks like he has taken a wrong turn again

As I said earlier, if he runs out of water and gets in danger will they go fetch him ?

Or is it a case of they will only fetch him if he presses the button on his spot unit?

If he thinks he is getting close to a water point and it is not there, and he has no water, things could get interesting.

rwalker, (hubber) is riding with a big group. A bit spread out, but they are all together. Must makes things a bit easier.

I cannot imagine doing this without a group

pic of Ramses's race rig as of yesterday.

Goeie blixem, that is minimal. So he was planning from the beginning that he is not wasting his time with this school-race. I am being sarcastic....

Very interesting bar setup he has. I like it

Ramses is playing mind games with them. If you look at the race flow, he rested for over an hour until Heinrich and Marco got to him and then he took off again. Both of them probably shortened their rest period to stay close to him but he'll be fresher now. I expect his lead to grow steadily through the day and this evening he'll probably pull the same stunt. He's going to be hard to beat unless something goes pear shaped.

Last years winner Marco didn’t sleep much last year, let’s see how long RB can sustain this.
