I've stopped commuting for now.

Was only doing it on saturdays, but found that without showers at work I could not really push myself that hard, and then the ride home in the mid day sun after being on my feet the entire morning was just a hard slog home.

I just wasnt getting the training in that I needed.

So for now I'm waking up a little earlier on a saturday, doing a good training ride before work.

After 947 I will probably resort to commuting again.

Some rain predicted for tomorrows ride home.

Also possibly for next week   The sunny hail-free mud-free days are over for this year and spring has finally sprung - and the sunlight returned! By the time we got to Delta Park this morning we already made shadows. Must take a camera along one day - it's magnificent out there at the moment.

Been off the bike the last two days, school run. The wife broke her coccyx and can't drive... but tomorrow I'm back on the bike.

Ouch. I am not a fan of trampolines. Saw an oke once bounce wrong and broke his knee, it bent the wrong way!!!! There is a thing called rush at a shopping mall near me, its just a massive area full of tramplines, they must have a few injuries when so many kids start going mal.

Not a big fan either, but the little one likes it - I just hope she does not end up breaking anything.

While I'm a but bummed out about missing two days of perfect riding weather and having to deal with traffic, especially around the schools - my legs welcome the rest.

Until Monday I was on the bike every day for 20 days consecutively including One Tonner that had a recovery period of 120h according to Sports-Tracker.

Ouch! Probably not a lot doctors can do about that?
