Who's to blame?

Driver is a chop for riding up the cyclists ass.

Cyclist is a criminal for hitting the mirror off.

Driver is definitely criminal for intentionally driving in to the rider.

But the rider is not a chop for taking the primary position.

Seeing u guys missed it earlier.

Its a case of road rage by the cyclist. I bet cyclist will neve attempt something like that again and even ride like that. You get people on our roads who will do the same thing with their vehicles. Hell you even get people who drive past you in traffic, then continue to block part of the road.

two idiots acting out sand-pit behaviour on the road ....

Wonder who got hurt though .....

NOT the brightest move to be "right" when playing dodgems with big metal boxes.

The following is in general of bicycles vs cars, since I don't know where this was and whether riding 2 abreast is legal there, but not everyone would agree with the sentiment of "what does it matter if you're right but dead" because some people are willing to die for their causes. Live and let live, to each their own within the reasonable law.

Riding two abreast, holding up traffic, a perfectly good cycle path on the left. I'd say the cyclist is an arogant twat and yes, if he had smashed my mirror, I would have taken him out too.

wow classy dude why bother to be here why dont you just go play with the neanderthal bike haters here .....https://www.4x4community.co.za/forum/ ...you will be so much happier there :whistling:

sadly so ....

some (both in vehicles and on bikes) are simply more interested in "being right", than in a bit of MUTUAL respect ....

A hubber recently said "it's better to live like a dog than die like a lion" and it's so true.

Not in life of course - Rob Roy would have a hernia but in the road we have to realise that cars are big and hard and heavy - we lose every time. Better to have our rights impeded on than be the centre piece at our own funeral.

This again is one of those videos that doesn't show the whole story.

The cyclist was intentionally holding that guy up he could have moved over ages ago. On the way to the lights you see the cyclist swerving to stop the guy passing. I would not have not pushed him off the road that's not right.

But as my father said don't make k@k you can't take. He definitely deserves a wees lekker klap!

Does the cyclist deserve his PK that he got?

Should the driver of the little bakkie type thing give the cyclist another kilometer or two to move out of the way before swerving into him?

Should the bakkie driver have ignored the fact that cyclist guy elbowed his mirror (and how easily did that mirror break) and carried on driving?

Did the cyclists 7 years of bad luck start immediately after breaking that mirror?

Isn’t two abreast allowed in many first world country’s? If so, doesn’t the rule of the road then dictate that you can overtake only when safe to do so by moving over the line to the other lane to overtake the cyclists safely? Dunno, just trying to understand the rules for that particular country if two abreast is allowed and then what the overtaking rules state.

The motorist is a complete ****. Cyclist is in the lane and moves over. Even while they're standing at the traffic lights the **** in the bakkie is inching up behind, clearly impatient.

Theres no sound but the cyclist reaction tells me the driver provoked the mirror slap by starting to squeeze him. Cyclsit reacts and then **** unleashes his personality.

total criminal
