Shocking Experience with Hub Seller and Cape Bike Shop

You lot are suckers for clickbait drama!!

This is a shout out of thanks to East City Cycles in Cape Town, and Hubber Buckshot.  Buckshot posted a Schwinn SS for sale which I was keen on, but live in the Gauteng smoke.

With no saak, drama or any other difficulty, Buckshot agreed to take the bike to East City Cycles, where Jarred very kindly did a once over and confirmed everything was as advertised. ECC then dropped the bike off at a friend.  Now that is what I call good service!!

A thoroughly pleasant Hub classifieds sale experience

If you were intending for this thread to make it to Friday, you should have added some elaborate embellishments...it is election year after all. Fake news is a thing.

Seriously though, well done to all. Good to hear of a LBS and a hub seller being honest about their wares.

you are RIGHT - something like ECC promotes secret socks and sunglass arms INSIDE the lid straps, and Buckshot wears crocks with socks - more SALACIOUS details would have def dragged it to Friday

Can it please be Friday already .. I need this week to be over.

you could always start another thread on "dwis spruit riders", "i greeted him but he didnt greet me back" or a "bad driver" redux to while away the week?  There's always fresh meat for the machine on these tried and tested chestnuts

As i said before...... dont talk to me on the spruit, it is a technical trail and you have to concentrate 100% of the time to make sure you don't crash. Chit chat is for the coffee shop!
