What kind of bike carrier do you use? Which bike fits easiest or must I spend even more bucks?

Been down this route and now I have to have two carriers for when it's not 'just about me' and my bike.

Get the Anthem - I did.

Choosing the frame that fits the bike rack, this is where it's at.

Hi, Thanks for the reply,,I'm still learning, at the bottom of your post "was youngest 21 club"' congrats, how old were you ? I've done 30 now, but my son is 28 later  this year, and done 17 tours.

We have a combined father / son of 47 tours.

Between him and his old man it’s like 79 argus’s

woke up early to work so I can ride later. 3 weeks of manflu has dented my questionable fitness. Wind is beyond gale force so thought I d trawl the hub for some entertainment and got it on this thread.

OP - if you've done 30 argi it means you rode bikes before they were fashion accessories and you are probably more than capable. Buy something that excites you, standards are high, most bikes are good, just get the one that excites you. Test a few and enjoy shopping for a new bike

I think after carefully monitoring the BikeHub 'riders' they have realised that most don't need more than 1 bottle since they blatherskite more than they ride, those who don't use a camel/saddle pack .... Problem solved

I did my first in 1991 at the age of 6. Have not missed a year since. This year was my 28th(would have been 29 if it weren't for the cancelled one). I recently turned 35 so if my maths is correct I was 26 when I did my 21st. My toppie has done 30. My boet 12 and my Mom 2 but they don't ride anymore. So 72 in the family.

I hope you and your son continue to rack up those finishes, its good bragging rights among cyclist', as it's the only race worth bragging about.

You are well versed in the art of the Subtle mic drop. AKA fynbrag.

If you buying second hand horizontal (older) models are cheaper.

Horizontal seems to be "older" technology.

Scott spark changed from horizontal to vertical recently.
