If you've got a GPS recording on Garmin or Strava, etc,  you could send the file through to Racetec and thave your time reviewed.

That was in 2013, so doesn't matter much now.

Hi everyone, I am looking for a 947 entry for the driver at our office. The only reason he has not entered the race the past couple of years is because he simply cannot afford it.

If you know of someone that has an entry but can't make it anymore or you can't make it and you're willing to gift your entry or sell it at a reasonable price (then I can cover the costs for him) please let me know.

I did post a wanted ad but am trying to spread the word a little further. I have never had much luck with wanted ads.

Well done for trying to assist here

Seems like @Jarl Borg (post above this one) is selling his

Has anyone seen a pace sheet on the website yet?

Go to https://www.bestbikesplit.com/ - I created a trial account and loaded the flipped route from last year. After putting in a lot of data, I played around with the figures to give me a plan for my ride. Now I want to see if I can ride at that pace, and see how accurate they are.

That software is for triathletes and TT's where you solo riding.  You going to solo ride to see how accurate it is?

As it won't take into account bunch riding.

I use it for my triathlons and am usually around 5 mins slower than calculated.  Could possibly be down to incorrect CdA and Crr numbers as I use their norms for expected road conditions

Has anyone parked at Monte Casino and ridden to the venue?

Last year the traffic was rubbish....

What time do you start?

If you arrive at around 5AM from the Summit road side it is actually not too bad and you get relatively nice parking.

Otherwise, yes, Monte is a very viable option. Plenty of people have done it.

Yes, I am planning to ride the event, and not race it. So most of my time will be solo. Not worried too much about the downhills, but want to see how the climbs compare.

If you download the garmin iq BBS to your head unit https://apps.garmin.com/en-US/apps/e30468e9-1eef-4c6e-9f5c-91597e55d522 and then upload the course, it will beep at you and advise you what power to to putting out at every segment along the course.

Riding for charity so it should be a 07:00/7:30 start

Think I'll try Monte this year, thanks

I've tried BBS, and also MyWindSock https://mywindsock.com/my/

So far MyWindSock has given more accurate results given the information entered.
