He/she probably did not even know he/she was doing it , not an excuse, but he/she might always ride on his own and not know...Or just make sure you not sitting behind a squirrel... He was talked to, not just by me and the Mtb'er, but also the lady he switched. He kept his line for a short time, until he lost the plot again. Some people just ride that way, had a chap with a Club 21 shirt on, that rode like this last year with the CTCT. I elicited a good chuckle from the guys around us when I later told him I will hunt him down afterwards, if he caused me to fall, as I had his name that was printed on his race number, and his number itself.Didn't do much too improve his behavior, so I slowed right up for him to just get away from me. I was away abroad and off bike for just over 2 weeks.
