Chubba Posted October 10, 2019 Author Posted October 10, 2019 Surely rules still apply to E bikes? Pedals at 3 and 9, crankset facing camera, middle of the block and valves at Bottom?....on a couch?
etienne_jordaan Posted October 10, 2019 Posted October 10, 2019 Nice pic and nice bike. If i had the money, there would be 1 parked with my other bikes. E-bikes are definitely here to stay.
etienne_jordaan Posted October 10, 2019 Posted October 10, 2019 I to, initially had my reservations and comments about E-bikes. I have however personally seen how it has opened the door to the world of cycling for people with disabilities and older cyclists. As a cyclist of 30+ years and planning to do it as long as possible, i can see how most of us are gonna get to the age were a E-bike is going to extend your cycling by another 10 years or so.

I can also go for a much longer ride on the weekends and do more fun riding and not be so stuffed afterwards. I also think there is a massive misconception that you cant ride hard or get fit on an Ebike, that's absolute nonsense. In actual fact, if you ride it correctly you can do more targeted training and ride at you desired avg/pk hear rates.
Mamil Posted October 10, 2019 Posted October 10, 2019 I will get an ebike for my 60th birthday - going to be an OMIL
Super Sywurm Posted October 10, 2019 Posted October 10, 2019 I am also dreaming about an E-bike, but the price...yoh... I would rather spend that money on a 'real' bike.
Slowbee Posted October 10, 2019 Posted October 10, 2019 Surely rules still apply to E bikes? Pedals at 3 and 9, crankset facing camera, middle of the block and valves at Bottom?and first photo should be on the couch
