I would have walked away and come back 6 months later after I had calmed down!

I was close...but i was too determined to get this frame out on the road.

All I can ask for is that you use tan walled tyres on that build with a matching leather saddle and bar tape :P

Haha, Tan Sidewall might be on the cards in a while...some Panaracers will do nicely.

But the saddle and bar tape i'm not so sure about ^_^

if you can make it work on your frame, Rook are doing some tan walled panaracers for R350/tyre (32c)

25c is the max fit as far as i can tell. Charlie at East City Cycles will be able to help

To top off the dashing paint, i Decided to venture into the absurd, and try to do a Gloss clear coat for myself...properly this time.

2 cans of 2k automotive paint in a spray can from Economic Motor spares in Obs...1 hour lunch break on a perfect windstill afternoon...and we have a beautiful clear coat.

The Clear really brings out the richness in the paint.

And Finally, whats left to do, is a very light wet sanding with 2000grit paper.

The orange peel was very minimal, and after making sure there is ample paint thinkness, this went very smoothly.

Polish and wax remain, but that post will have to wait till next week.
