soconnor Posted March 4, 2020 Posted March 4, 2020 Just heard through the grapevine that another cyclist was knocked down in a hit and run close to Simonstown Station yesterday morning and was airlifted to hospital,very serious head injuries operated on yesterday not sure if it was a hit and run but he was found lying in the road

Sounds weird saying "it's an area of the road I never really feel in danger", But it's true. in Both directions there is a double lane and they are fairly wide too and not too busy(which could also lead to lack on road concentration by drivers) On Sunday afternoon a cyclist also passed away going up Constantia Nek, confirmed Heart attack.
