Coronavirus lockdown and exercising outdoors

Lets see how this plays out. They still have to man the entrances to controlled access trails. I really can't see why their guards need to touch your activity permit and if masks are worn then its a low risk activity.

If they're more concerned with their staff transmitting the virus then use the screenng protocols legislated.

I think it's more a case of their salaries get paid by the taxpayer and the fact that people pay money to enter these places is merely an inconvenience to them.

Oh and some virus and stuff.......

Plenty of surfers at Muizenberg (such a beautiful morning) and the cops were pulling into the carpark as we were leaving - I hope there isn't a confrontation or showdown

On the eve of being allowed to run up the mountain for the 1st time in months, I tripped over the baby play pen and dislocated my baby toe. My left foot is currently all shades of purple. Pretty much sums up 2020!

hahahahahaha

Strap hom vas aan sy pellie langsaan en vat 'n sement pil.

Sorry, that doesn't translate into english that well.

Apparently there are arrests taking place in the Muizenberg car park... Surfers and their boards being loaded into the Corona Wagons....

Last I heard, cops turning a blind eye, as per lifestlye surf reporter...plenty of guys out at the moment...

ha!

Did you see a bunch of surf shops offering full sponsorship to all surfers to make them pro so they could bypass the rules?! hahaha

There are some going free and some getting nabbed. It's a bit random.

One paddy wagon just left with 4 boards and 4 surfers in....

In my mind I'm every bit as good as Jordy. Therefore I'm a pro.

I am sure that applies to most of us on here re our cycling abilities as well, and currently no pro has won more races than me the last 3 months  :whistling:

I own some business... I always wondered if I could sponsor myself. Full sponsorship. Kit, entries, travel AND pay myself a salary.... Full factory pro.
