Spoke nipple stuck in rim...

Hi all

 

How do i remove non magnetic spoke nipples?

I've tried rattling them out by the valve hole  and no luck

Got so triggered by my front wheel i stuck glue in the rim to get the one broken nipple to stop rattling...very bad idea 

 

my back wheel has 3 of them in it and Id rather get them out before I go insane hearing it well riding

Here's what i did. Cut a thin piece of plastic with 2 'wings', kind of like a butterfly shape and roughly the same shape as the rim inner. Gently fold the wings and insert the plastic into the valve hole effectively blocking the rim inner. Now turn the wheel slowly until the loose nipple is resting against the piece of plastic. Use a thin pair of tweezers or wire to slide the nipple up the plastic and out of the hole. Then remove the plastic.

Your LBS would probably charge R150 odd to true a wheel get them to remove some spokes and the rolling nipples
