Hi Guys,

 

Getting an upgrade and was looking into stand-alone (i.e. not with household content) bike insurance.

 

The value of the new bike will be a about R65k.

 

Would like to get some advice on the best companies to use?

My bikes are with household through a broker with OMI......50k each all risks about R230 each

• Discovery (if you have a medical aid with them)
• Cyclesure
• KingPrice (if you have car insurance with them)
• OmniSure
• JaSure (underwritten by Santam) - Fastest solution. 

Stand alone bicycle insurance, covers all the additional items where home and contents falls short. One prime example, theft away from home. Home and contents won't cover that.

All the big companies have their versions of this ....

 

 

I prefer to work via a broker ... to put it mildly.
