This is my third year of completing the 365  challenge, but its by far my worst year yet.  Motivation was low and I was super lazy so every number on this summary is lower than previous years by a long way.  This year will be better!  Four days down, three hundred and sixty one to go...

well done.

That takes some motivation to record a workout every single day.

Congratulations.

Are these all cycling days ?  Or do you mix in walking or running days ?

Strava shows "walking" as my primary sporting activity.  Now on 440 days of consecutively reaching my steps for the day.  Normal working days this is easy.  Lot more fun to get the steps in after a 100+km cycle ride .... A couple of late night walks around the block to get the steps done for the day.

As for my cycling stats for 2021 -

3065 km

43 597 m elevation

As I said previously, hardly one trip for @copperhead  :P

2019 was my first "proper" year of cycling, with barely 1 000 km.  2020 my total was just over 2 00 0km, so I am a happy camper with my progress.

My best Strava year to date:

Distance 5,932.9 km
Time 287h 6m
Elev Gain 78,220 m
Rides 154

At one point 7000km and 90 000 elevation was on the cards, but a lazy last 3 months of the year had the final say.

Didn’t want to create a new thread for this.
This popped up in my news feed over the weekend, so I thought for something different I’d use it in conjunction with digital.

lekker old school.

although I’m ignoring that it’s in miles

Good luck.

Strava has something similar in the Premium version; the weekly goal. I used it when I still had an annual subscription but then lost the ability when the subscription ended.

You set your annual goal, then workout a weekly goal. I planned (220+220+220+150) / 4 * 52 to get 10,500 for the year. The 150 was a recovery week.

Then ended up doing more than 220 in some weeks, as weather plays a role sometimes.

was surprisingly easy how the distance to target gets smaller each week; kinda like paying off a net rest on a home loan (a little bit extra each month reduces the number of periods).
