Compared to Zwift @ R399/month, I know where I would prefer to spend the cash.

this could be a game changer, you get the benefit of some great training software + the riding platform now as well.

Never been a zwifter - could not justify the cost , already have TP Premium so may well give the Virtual app a shot for some variation during my sessions

I agree - I think both TR & ZWIFT are gonna see a lot of customers migrating over - Its really a good deal considering what you get. Its still not as good as ZWIFT but in a year or 2 i think it will be better

So it is an issue with IndieVelo/TPV, I tried again on IndieVelo to connect last week, still cant get my watch/HRM to connect, did a ride on Zwift after that, connected no problem, downloaded and setup TPV, wont connect to my watch/HRM, very frustrating

Maybe buy a cheap HR strap, Magene one works well

What type of watch are you trying to connect? Does it show up as an option in the pairing screen but not connect, or does it not show at all?

Edit: I wonder if the watch HRM, when/if it can connect, would be an issue with Tier 1 races.

Polar Pacer, it doesn't connect at all, it ised to, but for the last 3 weeks or so, it does not connect on IV/TPV at all, but Zwift on Saturday it connected no problem

That it used to work, it might be good to report it as an issue and include your log file, if you have not done so already.
