Damn Bullet,that is just a plain k@k thing to happen.

Did a Gran Fondo in the Cradle. First time for me >130km and 1600m climbs. And it wasn'nt even that hard!

 

My riding partner had **** luck and his Jamis Jamison carbon seat post snapped at 94km. Did the rest solo.

Decided to test out my new toy today (Garmin Edge 500) and when it picked up a course automatically (which I loaded last night) I decided to follow it. Was a nice ride, but learned that going over Northcliff from Fairlands on a 1x8 (34 and 11-32) is really not that easy (respect to everyone doing similar climbs without a granny gear).

Lovely ride yesterday after the rains. Even the fish eagles were vocal and that sound always puts a smile on my face. On the down side - got a tick trying to hitch a ride.
