Unfortunately today's stage was an anticlimax. Obviously don't know how bad the mud was for that call to be made but the call was made. Rather safe than sorry like they say especially after that night ride shambles.

Mixed emotions from the first week with alot more expected. Yes one shouldn't compare but LeTour's first week was absolutely brutal + fire works compared. 

 

Anyway, still exciting 2 weeks left.

The Bumblebees just won the sprint at Tour of Britain as if they’re taking a lollipop from a 3 year old. 
A domestique is wearing the GC leader’s jersey at the Vuelta.

They are going for the 3rd Grand Tour win this year and have won back-to-back maillot jaunes. Roglič have won 3 consecutive Vueltas and they are not too bad at the Classics either.

Sheer dominance.

I'm fascinated to see how this plays out. TT coming up that Remco should blitz, 3 bumblebees to then take him on and claw back time with alot of efforts. A lot of roads going up hill and now real team to speak of for Remco once it gets steep. He's looked pretty good so far but there is a long way to Paris (edit: the Spanish Paris) and we've not even seen the Jumbo tag team attack yet. I have not idea how this plays out and that really awesome to look forward to! 😄
