Only pays more IF a team sees the value amount in the rider. In a case like this typically the MTB team pays the salary, not the road team. 

In some cases XCO can / does pay more. 
Can have the XCO rider not be better due to many variables. Cink is an example. Not everyone in XCO is Pidock and he doesnt transfer both ways

i was chatting to pal in the US who said he heard that bora red bull is also an option!! Would be great if he could team up again with S2S.

I didn’t think it was but it was amusing that South African riders are drawing so much speculation about their futures. It’s a great place for our local sport to find itself.  There’s suddenly more interest in what we’re doing locally that’s bringing these talents to the fore. 
basis questions and speculations on multiple fora Alan and Candice could be joining any team with UCi teams license 😂
