If I had the cash to blow on the entry and a. Gravel bike I’d have been on the start line on Monday. I’d be keen to give it a go since the tour du cap is dead.

Maybe I'm just being simple, but I can't find a way to see anything but categories. Working in chrome but tried edge too.

 

If I select the "show all" from the drop down I just get the top 5 in each cat. Does every single cat get their own start?

@ShebeenIf you select Challenger Results from the List drop down and then click on the show all participants link (bottem right) you will see the combined leaderboard. This doesn't order them in GC overall position though.

If you go do it now, while a stage is happening, and select "Live GC", then I think you'll see what you're looking for, to some extent.

For some reason you can't get that view after the stage though

I am not at all surprised by the attrition rate. I think I may have touched on it months ago in the thread. 

Getting dropped by the group and limping home beaten up every day is a very different kind of broken.

It's also easier and more tempting to stay with the group and burn all your matches than a MTB race where you simply just get dropped off the bat.

Either way, i think it is fascinating how many people actually thought riding a gravel bike flat out for a week was appealing

I've definitely never finished the swartberg gf and thought, heck yes, I'd love to do that again tomorrow... and the next day, and the next....

THIS! And the hard days are about to come... Three days back to back ok... Stage 6 with that distance after that finish on stage 5 tomorrow... I see there were already another 41 DNS today.

@Shebeen, I have dropped that into an Excel file and then sorted it by overall standing. You will see Benky is in 32 pos. Hope this is what you wanted.

Why the hell am I suffering from such FOMO? I know I'll probably die if I had to try race this, yet here I am trying to find a plan to raise 50K for next years entry fee 🤦‍♂️

What is really blowing my mind is the speed of the 50+ riders in this field. Damn, those boys are mixing it up in the Overall with the 19-34 group. Insane how strong they are.
