Shoo, serious FOMO is only increasing , I have a last minute business trip that will result in me missing this year’s event,

as luck would have it, the conditions will probably be perfect!
Enjoy all!

That sucks.

If you are aiming for 20+ (or similar), then that virtual race option may be a handy option.

Though nothing gets close to the VIBE of the World Champs

Yes, I may well do a long ride on Saturday and submit as the ride, will look into that tomorrow as I have entered and did not get a chance to release entry due to late notice of my travel,

Does anyone know how to change your medical aid info in their database ?

I know you can do it before you pay, but it seems that once you've paid, when you login it takes you to the last tab of the process and I cant seem to go back. I know I've done it in the past, just dont recall how.

I have popped them an email, but with just over a week to go to race day I'm sure they have thousands of queries to get through amongst all the other last minute prep, so if I can sort this out on my own it would be great.

I won't be there, Chris. Focusing on the world of work.

ITB has struck - overstressed the knee with belated training. Physio tomorrow. Assuming its not 100% better, should I just swallow my pride and some PED's and ride the damn thing?

you've got 6 hours (or is it 7, cant remember) to complete the course, go take a chilled coffee ride around the peninsula, enjoy the gees and the closed roads.

never mind, got it updated.

I signed up for the free Bokomo breakfast tent thing since I'm going to be staying basically at the start, and during the signup process it took me through the steps to update personal info.

info@cycletour.co.za is your best bet.

Otherwise call the event office and have them update it manually. You won't be able to make any changes till after the event

I think this is your best option for getting through it....

I don't know the person that posted this (and I don't know who Greg is), but I was very tempted to pop in for a champagne breakfast at Greg's house last year:

Then there are several beers stops thereafter. Maybe it's on again this year. Worth a try.
