On a lighter note, just had a taxi crash. Dumb ass pulled into bike lane and stopped for guests. Couldn't stop in time. I'm fine, but bike is broken. Well, the fork. Hopefully frame ok. Have started a topic for advice in replacement. Please help

@madgwicd let's see if you get any takers.  "Alpine coaches Western Cape" have had teams in the Epic for a few years, by the nature of the beast some of their teams may need a late replacement.  I can assist in putting you in contact if you need to at a later stage.

Keen to see Keegan and Matt, now riding for the same team and with some wrongs to right, go this year. 

Listening to Keegan on this podcast, he is taking it seriously and Specialized takes it very seriously so they will be raring to go. 
My money will be on these two. 

Wonder if Nino will come around around?

Any other early teams anyone knows about?
The SC boys will surely be here.

Keller should be a good partner. She has trained in SA for a few years i believe and knows the conditions. She is also a bit of a beast on the bike.
