Can't make it anymore so, there's an entry free to a good home.

Just ping me and I will send you the registration for substitution. Not sure how it works.

loved this format, the modified pofadder was a hoot.

roughly 80 DNF  for 240 finishers feels like a high ratio

Awesome day out, yeah that singletrack on a gravel bike was massive fun.

There are always large numbers of people that can't wrap their head around leaving Lord's to ride up that hill, every year that's where they drop.

There was also a cut-off at 14h00 at Lord's Wines, they didn't allow you to attempt the climb if you arrived after the cut-off. We saw a number of riders still riding towards the venue when we left just after 14h00

Cannot say I particularly enjoyed the singletrack on my gravelbike, worried that idea might catch on with other gravel organisers 🤣

But yes, unique and challenging route, definitely one of the more interesting races around.

Also, weather was kind to us...

ngl i felt jealous of the MTB folk on saturday, its also starting to feel like they have no issues hanging with the drop bars on the fast sections as well

the weather couldnt have been better, had to de-robe a few layers before the start and still got it wrong.

How long did it take from Lords to the finish?

Asking for a friend…

For a slower rider probably around an hour + the stretch from McGregor to Lords is another 30min drag/climb
