MT.. Ive also done it, I recon me and you could be cool as we can follow each other closely, better yet is to put it behind the seatpost, thats cool as you see the rider behind you from front, mabe the thangs brains will get rattled.. so put it on the back of the helmet, but thats less stable than seatpost.. mm, I see what you mean with by trying to look like youre going fast. Youre good at that, throwing little bit of stle in, but not going any fastersmiley36.gif

OK, lets try hook it., I ned another set od wheels.. My 1.6kg, CRC set isnt goign to last my tipe of tokai riding forever.. I need a cheap set as I already have 2 x CRC orders and a hometrainer and a Magicshine light on the waysmiley9.gif

I want to put soeme heavy duty tires on the one, so I can really shred the corners, my Raceking and monorail ain helping the cause.

But a man's got to race ya see.

You don't ask for much do you.....smiley1.gif

Have you got Patrick on speed dial? If so, tell him I want a Shova with your edits but it must be Ti - bike for life!

I have seen a Shova with a 150 Talas and RP23 Boost with a longer stroke to match the fork - very nifty and works like a charm without any changes from the factory...

SO..This was about 6 weeks ago In the cederberg. It nearly damned Killed me. i was mos going on this solo mission, Did about 100km before getting to the top of this pass, I looked across the next vallei, eager to see the Backpackers that only existed from a roadsign 48km back. No celphone reception, no more water (serious I almost pegged) and no more will.. I specked the distance to be another 10 km, which ment I had to get across this pass ahead. that thing Is probably equal to the mast in Tokai. Problem is This was after Gaydo pass, and many other Cederberg Passes. 42'C 2pm...eagles circling overhead.. that kind of mission.

This hill darn nearly had the best of me, I walked most of it as It was so steap that It made me breath hard going up, that dried my mouth so badly (no water) that I thought I was going to swallow My tongue. I got to the top- so tired, there was a roadsign behind which I seeked shelter for a few minutes as there was nothign to keep the sun from beating down on me. A 4x4 came passed, and I ran into the road to make him stop, when opening their window I couldnt speak, mouth so dry and tongue swollen. Water.. all I could say..

The next day I had the whole thing to do backwards..I learnt a valuable life lesson that day.

Stay the F*ck out of the dessert son!
