There was one tandem (male & female) at Sabie Experience this year. They completed the event. Last day had a good stretch of rough downhill dirt road (rocks, erosion, loose sand, slippery cobblestone section, switch backs, etc.). They went down that section so fast it was scary. There is something to be said in having trust in your partner when doing MTB tandem, especially the person at the back.......

I clearly remember watching the Epic Prologue a few years back when it was in Tokai, and thinking how bloody brave the blind stoker must be going down Vasbyt, trusting his captain 100%. I imagine the captain has to give a running commentary of what is coming up and the stoker has to really feel and flow with the minutest movement of the bike. BIG respect!

Wow, what a comeback...

Yes, truly moving and most encouraging.

We need more of this out there and in our midst.

We're saturated enough with soul crushing things in daily life.

We need more LIFE in life;)

 

I hope this inspires and instills gratefulness in all of us who are able to have the privilege of riding.

All Out Adventures is definitely one of the most beautiful trails I have had the pleasure of riding! The Trilby and Grotto Trail especially...
