Sad News - Mark Stockton

Will always remember Mark as a big hearted, cheerful bloke. A good friend, passionate about cycling and his family.Will miss you mate, thanks for all the help and support with Right2Ride as well as mine and Ben's 16 in 8 challenge.

always sad news when one of "our hub family" gets "the call"

as a parent my thoughts and prays are with the family and kids....

 

R.I.P mate and may they wind now always be at your back.

This is a major shock. Mark will be sorely missed in the cycling community.

Our condolences to the Stockton family. May the Lord be with you all and may

he give you strength in this very trying time.

May Marks light shine forever.

R.I.P Mark, rode with him a few times and he always came across as happy and cheerful. I recall one night ride at Rietvlei where he took tumble and cut himself quite bad but instead of heading straight back he insisted on finishing the ride first.

I'm speechless.

 

I just wrote an email to Mark not 5 minutes ago, then I jumped on to the hub and read this...

 

I sat chatting to the Stockton clan at the Cradle Quest on the weekend.
